Invent, sketch, create, engineer, code, and explore how things work in this project-based class. Students will use the Engineering/Design Process to explore LED lights, vibrating motors, rockets, airplanes, race cars, boats, pinball machines, catapults, zip lines, structures, bridges, and so much more!
Students will examine key scientific concepts and explore physical, earth, and life science through fun and challinging activities. Math topics range from 2D vs 3D to creating their own place value system. Art topics focus on the elements of art and PE lessons would be split between conditioning and skills. Students will create science concept cards, math notebooks, and their very own art portfolios.
No matter when or where, we can take you there! Students will travel through important world events, explore cultures, and share their findings in a variety of fun and engaging formats. Along their journey, students create their own maps, learn about landmarks, and even publish their own ancient newspaper. Class is designed for students of all levels of academic ability.
Utilizing a variety of resources, students will gain a understanding of how science, math and art can all collide to make a unique learning experience. Through the use of hands on resources students will gain a deeper understanding of plants, animals astronomy, light, sound, properties of matter, magnetic forces, energy and much more.
