Music Creation and Appreciation

Dive into the world of music! From rock to pop and hip hop, students will understand how songs are structured and will even create music of their own. Students will also learn how music improves mood, quality of life, and self-esteem. While they explore different genres, students gain an understanding of musical instruments that will help lead up to a performance! This class is open to all skill levels.

Summer Art Studio

Come and experiment and build skills with a wide range of media, techniques and “”concepts in art”” from drawing and painting to sculpture, clay and mixed media. Students will learn individually through choice based activities (stations), as well as through cooperative (and safe, socially distanced) group activities. Students will also learn by looking at the work of a wide range of historical and contemporary artists, focussing in particularly on underrepresented and less well-known artists as inspiration for self expression and communication.”

Come and discover the hero’s journey as you learn about theater arts, English, and history! Class combines the elements of reading and writing during English with the theatrical, storytelling elements of the hero’s journey throughout literature along with tales of real-life adventurers, heroes, and heroines throughout history.
