Hi. My name is Erin Musick and I currently teach fifth-grade at Field Elementary. Throughout my 18 year teaching career I have taught first through fifth grade. This is my 7th summer working with PEF. I am passionate about the language arts and storytelling. I am excited to offer these digital lessons to your children to enjoy.

2020 At Home Lessons

New Video Lessons will be shared every Monday beginning June 8, 2020.

Lesson 1: What goes into a story? A story’s key ingredients are character, plot, and setting.
Lesson 2: Just like eating meals in the same order everyday (breakfast, lunch, dinner) a story follows a pattern. Understanding story arcs.
Lesson 3: Nutritious foods feed your body and good stories feed your heart. Authors use stories to teach a lesson about the world, this lesson is called the theme.
Lesson 4: Characters must grow. This lesson will focus on character development.
Lesson 5: Writing is a fruit salad with all the parts working together to create something delicious.
